- 2 lb peeled russet potatoes cut in small chunks
- 3 cloves garlic peeled
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Wash and chop the potatoes into small chunks. Peel the garlic cloves.
Place the potatoes, garlic cloves and chicken broth in the Instant Pot.
Secure the lid and seal the valve. Press “steam” and adjust time to 7 minutes.
When cooking cycle has finished carefully manually release the steam.
Add milk, butter, sour cream, salt and pepper and mash with a potato masher until smooth.
