DIY Candy Corn Decor

Equipment

Materials

  • 1 x 4 x 48” lumber
  • Yellow Orange, White paints
  • Paint brush

Instructions

  • Step 1. Measure across the width of the board at 3 inch increments

  • Step 2. Set your miter saw to 24 degrees, with each cut flip the board creating a wedge 3” wide and 3 ½” long.
  • Step 3: Now sand the sharp points down to make rounded corners, I used a belt sander anchored in a vice.

  • Step 4: Paint the pieces with a good base coat, I used a white spray paint.
  • Step 5: I built a rack to help apply paint evenly and minimize cleanup. Reposition the dividers with each color.
  • Step 6: Paint the sides and touch up any areas that might need some extra attention.
