Ingredients

  • 1 pound brussels sprouts cut in half
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt to taste

For the Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup keto syrup if low carb
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup pecan halves

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • Toss the sprouts in olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Place the sprouts cut side down on the baking sheet. Bake 15 minutes.
  • Remove the sprouts from the oven and flip, roast another 10 minutes or so until they have reached your desired crispness.
  • While your sprouts are cooking combine the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon, and garlic.
  • Once your sprouts are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside remove from the oven. Pour the sauce over the sprouts, add pecans and toss to coat.
  • Roast another 3-4 minutes until the sauce has caramelized.
