How to Store Cooked Chicken
Cooked chicken should be transferred to the refrigerator within a few hours of cooking, and is best stored in an airtight container. In the refrigerator, cooked chicken can last 3-4 days (if you’d like to keep it for longer, it’s best stored in the freezer).
How to Reheat Chicken
When reheating chicken, it’s important you take precautions to ensure it doesn’t dry out and lose all the wonderful succulence of a freshly cooked fillet.
To reheat in the oven, first preheat your oven to 325 degrees. Wrap your chicken tightly in aluminium foil and reheat until the internal temperature of the meat is sufficient.
If you’re going for the quick option of reheating in the microwave, take extra caution to avoid dryness by reheating your chicken in sauce. Luckily with this dish, that only makes things all the more convenient!
Simply heat the chicken in a microwave safe container for 45 seconds at a time, checking the temperature of the thickest pieces of meat and turning regularly throughout.
