Brownies are a serious business in this house. In my opinion a brownie should be slightly gooey and always more fudgy than cake like. Perfect brownies are crisp around the edges, have slight cracks along the top and have perfect dark chocolate flavor. Extra chocolate chips are never optional, and pecans only make brownies better around here. If you can’t tell, I believe there is an art to perfect brownies.

This Brownie Pie has all the qualities I love about traditional brownies but in a more creative form. This recipe is a perfect mashup of old school brownies and a classic molten cake. This is best served warm so you can enjoy the buttery, chocolate dessert in all it’s glory!

How do you make a Keto Brownie Pie?

This recipe is incredibly simple. It is one of those recipes that requires only basic pantry staples so you can whip it up on a weeknight when the chocolate cravings hit, or serve to guests and still impress. You can make this low carb brownie pie in just a few simple steps:

  1. Heat a medium size sauce pan to medium low heat and whisk together the melted butter, granular monkfruit sweetener and sugar free chocolate chips until the sweetener begins to dissolve and the chocolate is melted. Do not bring mixture to a boil, just slowly melt over medium low heat.
  2. Remove the sauce pan from heat and allow to cool a few minutes. When the mixture has cooled slightly whisk in the eggs and vanilla extract. Fold in the almond flour, remaining chocolate chips and nuts (if using).
  3. Pour into a greased pie pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes until the edges are firm and the center is no longer jiggling.
