I have an impressive recipe for you today. This Easy BBQ Shrimp recipe is loaded with flavor and incredibly simple to make! This flavorful dish is great on its own, but it is also an excellent protein you can use to make shrimp tacos, wraps, or pile high on your favorite salad!

This is a dish you will find tons of ways to enjoy! You can even make it keto-friendly by using a low-carb sweetener like brown sugar monkfruit, making it a fantastic option for nearly any diet! For more easy recipe ideas, check out The Best Five Ingredient Recipes!

What ingredients do you need for BBQ Shrimp?

You might think this dish requires a lengthy list of ingredients, but you would be surprised to learn that you only need five ingredients for this Easy BBQ Shrimp!

  • Shrimp
  • BBQ Sauce: If keto, choose one with a low sugar content. I used G Hughes Sugar Free BBQ Sauce.
  • Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Garlic
  • Sweetener: Honey or Brown Sugar Monkfruit work great

How do you make BBQ Shrimp?

  1. Combine the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, sweetener, and garlic. Stir until smooth. You may need to heat 10-15 seconds to make the sweetener dissolve.
  2. Place the raw shrimp in a large bowl, pour the BBQ sauce mixture over the shrimp reserving 2 tablespoons for later.
  3. Heat a grill to medium high heat, approximately 400 degrees and grill the shrimp 2-3 minutes on each side. Alternatively, can use a large grill pan or thread onto skewers if you wish.

What can I make with BBQ Shrimp?

This delicious shrimp is great on its own. If you’d like to serve it as an entree these Instant Pot Mashed Potatoes and Bacon Wrapped Green Beans would make the perfect meal! However, there are endless options!

  • BBQ Shrimp Tacos: Wrap the shrimp in warm corn tortillas (or these great Keto Zucchini Tortillas) with a little slaw mixed with ranch dressing and a drizzle of BBQ sauce.
  • Shrimp and Vegetable Skewers: thread the shrimp and chopped vegetables on skewers and grill.
  • Cheesy BBQ Shrimp Stuffed Potatoes: Stuff baked potatoes with butter, sour cream, cheese and heat until melted. Top with BBQ Shrimp and additional sauce.
  • Shrimp and Vegetable Quesadillas: Layer cheese, bell pepper, onion and cooked shrimp in a tortilla heat in a skillet with butter over medium heat until golden brown.

What are some other easy recipes?

First up is this super easy Bacon Cheeseburger Mac. It is made in one pan, under 30 minutes and has all of the flavor of a delicious Bacon Cheeseburger but in cheesy pasta form. It makes for a generous meal and the leftovers are even better!

This is very easy to customize based on your preferences. You can skip the bacon if you don’t have it or need to stretch your groceries a little longer. You can also sub ground turkey for ground beef it you want to go for a leaner option. Some of my other favorites include:

  • One Pan Taco Mac
  • Italian Chicken and Spinach Pasta
  • Chili Mac
  • Vegetarian Lo Mein (great as a main dish or side)
