- Soy Sauce: tamari and coconut aminos will also work in this recipe.

- Sweetener: if low carb use monkfruit, if not regular brown sugar or coconut sugar work well.
- Garnish: Sesame seeds, crushed red pepper flakes, or green onions.
How do you make Foil Pack Green Beans?
These easy Foil Pack Green Beans are a cinch to make! You just need to follow three simple steps!
- Combine the trimmed green beans and sauce ingredients in a large bowl. Toss the beans well so they are completely coated with the soy sauce mixture.
- Cut a section of foil between 2-3 feet long. Dump the green beans in the center and bring the sides together and fold into a secure foil pack.
- Place on a preheated 400 degree grill and grill 15 minutes, rotating once during cooking. Carefully, using tongs, open the foil pack and check to make sure the beans have reached your desired tenderness.
Do I have to make these green beans on a grill?
No, you can also use an oven if you prefer. Simply preheat the oven to 400 degrees and bake 12-15 minutes. Carefully open the packet and check the desired tenderness. If needed, close the packet and cook an additional 5 minutes.
Are these green beans keto-friendly?
Absolutely! Green beans are naturally low carb and keto-friendly. There is a small amount of sweetener in this recipe, you simply need to use monkfruit verses refined sugar. If using monkfruit, this recipe has about 5 net carbs per serving.
