We’ve been making this Keto Tuscan Chicken with Asparagus on repeat lately because the one thing that my garden has in abundance right now is asparagus. It is coming in much faster than we can eat it! This is a very quick and easy recipe that is naturally very low carb.
This Keto Tuscan Chicken features seasoned browned chicken, tender asparagus, garlic cloves and a rich parmesan sauce. It is made in just one pan and ready in 30 minutes. This is the perfect easy low carb recipe.

- Butter
- Chicken Breast

- Salt and pepper to taste

How do you make Tuscan Chicken?
- Marinate the cubed chicken in the Italian dressing for at least one our before cooking or up to 24 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Heat a large oven proof skillet to medium heat, add butter and chicken, discard the marinade.
- Allow the chicken to brown 4-5 minutes on each side. Wait to stir the chicken until it is browned.
- When the chicken is browned and the moisture has cooked off add the chopped asparagus, garlic, broth, heavy cream, parmesan, salt and pepper to taste. Stir well.

How many carbs are in Keto Tuscan Chicken?
As you can tell by the ingredients this is a naturally low carb meal. The net carbs for this dish excluding the Italian dressing for the marinade is just 2.5 net carbs per serving.
I want to point out that I do not factor the Italian dressing into my calculations because generally it is already very low carb usually only containing olive oil, vinegar, garlic and spices and it is only used to marinate the chicken, it is discarded when the chicken is cooked. However, if you want to include this in your calculations just total the number of carbs in your Italian dressing for 1/2 cup and divide by 4. Add this number of carbs to 2.5 and that gives you the total with the dressing included.
What should I serve with Keto Tuscan Chicken?
My favorite thing about this meal is that the protein and vegetables are all together making this an ideal meal in itself. However, if you want to serve this with something else some of my favorite low carb side dishes are:
If you aren’t worried about carbs this dish pairs nicely with your favorite tortellini, mashed potatoes or gnocchi.

Hey Rachel, they were just used for garnish, so you can add them at the end if you’d like but it is delicious without them too 🙂 I hope you enjoy!
