Everybody needs a delicious go to recipe for parties and family get togethers, if you don’t have a signature dish, I’m gifting one to you! This Hot Crab and Bacon Dip is always a favorite! It is easy to make and amazing with tortilla chips, buttery, toasted garlic bread or vegetables.

This dip is unique from other crab dips because it features chopped artichokes and crispy bacon. These additions make an irresistible flavor combination!

Ingredients for Hot Crab Dip

You can find the full recipe card and instructions below, but this gives you a quick overview of the ingredients you will need to make this cheesy dip:

  • Sour cream
  • Mayonnaise
  • Cheese: Cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, shredded parmesan
  • Crab meat
  • Bacon
  • Green Onions
  • Canned artichokes
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Lemon juice
  • Spices: Old bay or your favorite cajun seasoning

How do you make Crab and Bacon Dip?

  1. Combine all of the ingredients except 1 cup of the shredded cheddar and 1/4 cup of the chopped bacon and spread into a greased 2 quart baking dish.
  2. Top the dip with the remaining cheddar and bake 20-25 minutes.
  3. Garnish with the remaining bacon and additional green onions. Serve immediately.

Can you make this dip in a slow cooker?

Yes, you can use a small 2 quart slow cooker for this recipe. Simply follow the same directions and heat the dip for approximately two hours until warmed through.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan
  • 1 15-ounce can artichokes rinsed and chopped
  • 16 ounces lump crab meat rinsed and patted dry
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons Old Bay or cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 4 slices of bacon cooked and chopped, divided
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese divided

Instructions
